Allianz Travel offers two single trip travel insurance packages: Travel Plus and Travel Extra. Both packages provide coverage for trip cancellation and curtailment, emergency medical expenses up to R 2,500,000 and R 10,000,000 respectively, and emergency medical evacuation and repatriation.
Additionally, both packages offer coverage for loss of travel documents and personal money, baggage delay and loss, personal accident, permanent loss of sight or limb, and personal liability.
However, the Travel Extra package offers higher coverage limits for many of these benefits, including trip cancellation and curtailment, emergency medical expenses, repatriation of mortal remains, and personal accident. The Travel Extra package also provides coverage for missed departure, trip delay, mugging, and legal expenses or advance of bail bond, which are not covered under the Travel Plus package.
