The Stangen journey

In June 2017, the company then known as The Standard General Insurance Company Limited changed its marketing to a new, shortened name. This strategic move introduced the industry to the brand name now known as Stangen.

King Price Financial services acquired Stangen in February 2020. In May 2022 The Standard General Insurance Company Limited underwent a name change. They're now known as King Price Life Insurance Limited.

Stangen offers life insurance policies ranging from R100,000 up to R5 million, depending on your financial situation. This means that in the event of your death, Stangen will pay the sum insured out to your chosen beneficiary.

• 7 million life cover for a  56-year-old, non-smoking female with a postgraduate degree earning an income of R15,000 per month will cost R615 per month.
